Hypnobabies® Childbirth Hypnosis Classes
Bonnie Baker, HCHI, HCHD, PES

http://www.bellissimobirth.com/hypnobabies.html

Hypnobabies is a very successful 6 week, 3-hours per week, complete childbirth education course, rather than using simple relaxation, breathing or guided imagery. This allows our Hypno-Moms to enjoy “eyes-open childbirth hypnosis”, easily remaining deeply in hypnosis while walking, talking and changing positions; being as mobile as they would like to be during childbirth.

In addition to medical-grade self-hypnosis, our students also learn...
  • The anatomy and physiology of birth
  • How to stay healthy and low risk
  • In-depth nutrition and exercise options
  • About their variety of birth choices and informed consent
  • Optimum fetal positioning
    ...and much more!
Hypnobabies is well-known for helping women to create easier and more comfortable labors, making childbirth the joyful experience it was meant to be.
Expectant mothers use our Hypnobabies Workbook, MP3s and hypnosis scripts to re-train their subconscious minds that contractions in labor will be perceived by their body as pressure-type sensations, and/or pushing, pulling, and normal baby movement sensations. With the use of real, medical-grade hypnosis and the type of hypnotic compounding (repetition) that our Hypnobabies students learn, practice and use during labor, normal birthing sensations can easily be transformed into pleasurable ones. Our Hypno-moms are also fully in tune with their babies during the birthing process, and as aware of everything around them as they’d like to be, easily able to communicate with their support team,  and completely in charge of their own birth experience.
Hypnobabies uses the same medical hypnosis techniques that people employ when preparing for surgery without any drugs, which is called hypno-anesthesia. Our classes also teach Hypnobabies Birth Partners how to fully support the Hypno-Moms, and Hypnobabies is also used very successfully by single mothers. A willing Birth Partner is a bonus!
Classes are taught in Kaysville and in Murray at The Birth Center. Please visit my website for class times and location details.

YOU are an excellent candidate to receive the benefits of hypnosis during childbirth!

HypnoBirthing is a great choice for moms wanting to learn how to tap into their natural birthing instincts and work with, rather than against, their bodies in labor. For 25 years, women have been using HypnoBirthing to have a more empowered and natural birth experience, based on a framework of evidence-based birth education. Class sessions are 5 weeks in length and each class is approximately 2.5 hours long. Partners are an integral part of the birth experience and are encouraged to practice the relaxation exercises right along with mom.

Finally... kids do come with instructions!

In the Happiest Baby on the Block classes, we teach you the skills you need to calm and comfort a tired and crying newborn! You will learn how to transform that overwhelming time with a newborn into an empowering one.

We talk about the physiological changes your baby is going through and how to prevent the colicky symptoms in a newborn. Oftentimes, those long crying bouts are in response to their adjustment to life outside of the womb and with the right techniques, you are able to reduce the frustration of colic or remove them all together.

All babies cry—and that’s a good thing. How else would we know if our babies were cold, hungry, lonely or in pain? Traditionally, moms and dads have been encouraged to just keep their chins up and wait until the baby grows out of it. But, that’s easier said than done!

Happiest Baby, Inc. was founded in 2001 by Dr. Harvey Karp (pediatrician, child development specialist.) Dr. Karp’s celebrated books/videos, The Happiest Baby on the Block and The Happiest Toddler on the Block, have helped millions of new parents. Over 3,000 Happiest Baby certified educators teach Dr. Karp's works across America and 20 other nations. I am delighted to bring this class series to Salt Lake and Davis counties!

Make your 4th trimester a peaceful, empowered experience!
Registration comes with a DVD or digital download of the Happiest Baby techniques you will learn in class, and a white noise CD or MP3. ($40 value)
